Back at it

So its been a while since I've been able to pull out the Olympus OM1 that Mom gave to me a few years back. But I've brought it with me to Europe and plan to bring it with me on my upcoming trip. After visiting a few shops I found a decent retailer who was really nice and informative, I bought some B/W as well as color film. Now I'm all set to bring the OM1 with me on my adventure. There's something much more satisfying about a film camera opposed to my digital. Don't get me wrong, I want nothing more than to have a Canon Rebel with all kinds of fancy lenses for my next camera, but I love the way the analog version feels as I snap off a photo. The way the mechanisms work in complete harmony with one another to compose what will become a memory in time.

Thanks again for the Camera Mom! I'll be sharing the photos once I get back and have a chance to process, develop and scan them (so complicated right?)
